Articles in newspapers regarding Library Taxes

There has been much news in the last two weeks regarding library taxes. Todays Herald has an article on the tax issue right on the front page. If asked why Malverne is not mentioned, let people know that the article refers to school district and special district libraries. We are a Village library and our taxes are figured differently. I estimate that the library taxes for Malverne are about $152.00 per household.
